These terms and conditions apply to the Huglet app (hereby "Application") for iOS and Android mobile devices, created by Vadim Plămădeală (hereby "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. Last updated: 12 July 2026.

Upon downloading or using the Application, you automatically agree to these terms. Please read and understand them before using the Application.

Huglet lets you connect with another person and, with their permission, send content that appears on their phone: a drawing or note in their home-screen widget, a recorded vibration ("touch"), and, on Android devices, a wallpaper. Some platform features are limited by the operating system — for example, iOS does not allow apps to change the wallpaper, and custom vibrations on iOS play when the app is opened. The Application states these limits clearly where they apply.

Huglet only works between people who have connected to each other, and the recipient always controls what may be sent to them, including daily limits, quiet hours, pausing, and blocking. You agree to use Huglet respectfully and only with people who want to receive from you. You must not use Huglet to harass, threaten, impersonate, or send content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes others' rights. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

You are responsible for the content you create and send. You retain ownership of your drawings, notes, and patterns; you grant the Service Provider a limited licence to store and deliver them to your intended recipient and to keep them in your history where you have that feature. Recipients can report content; reported content may be reviewed and removed.

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping any linked sign-in secure. The Application requires an internet connection to send and receive; features may not work over some mobile networks, and data charges from your provider may apply. Some features (such as widget refresh timing and background vibration) depend on your device's operating system and battery settings, which are outside our control.

Huglet's core — connecting with one person and sending notes and drawings to their widget — is free. Huglet Plus is an optional subscription that unlocks extras such as connecting with more people, recorded custom vibrations, remote wallpaper on Android, unlimited history, cloud backup, and premium styles. Plus is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription (the yearly plan may include a free trial) and a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and renew automatically until cancelled; manage or cancel them in your store account settings. A free trial, if offered, converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends. Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region. Refunds are handled by the app stores under their policies.

The Service Provider may update, change, or discontinue the Application or any feature. We aim to keep the free core available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Updates may be required to keep using the Application.

The Application is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, the Service Provider is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Application. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country.

You may stop using Huglet and delete your account at any time (see Delete Your Data). We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
